Dividend Aristocrat PPG Industries (PPG) raises its dividend by ~6% and this is the 48th consecutive year with respect to dividend increases.
PPG, a manufacturer, and distributor of coatings, specialty materials, and glass products, declared a $0.54/share quarterly dividend, this is a 5.9% increase from the prior dividend of $0.51 per share. The current forward dividend yield is 1.90%.
The dividend is payable Sept. 11 for shareholders of record Aug. 10. The PPG stock traded ex-dividend on Aug. 7.
