Dividend Aristocrat General Dynamics (GD) reported an EPS of $2.43 in Q1 2020 versus $2.56 the same quarter a year ago. General Dynamics is a global aerospace and defense company and saw a $549 million decline in revenue for the Aerospace segment. Since travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in delayed deliveries of business-jet aircraft. The Defense segments combined show modest growth in revenue and margin.
In March, the board of directors increased the quarterly dividend to $1.10 per share. This 7.8% increase marked the company’s 29th consecutive annual dividend increase. The current dividend yield is around 3%.
