Dividend Aristocrat Target Corporation (NYSE: TGT) will raise its quarterly dividend to 66 cents per common share, a 3.1% increase from the previous quarterly dividend of 64 cents. The dividend is payable on Sept. 10th, 2019 to shareholders of record at the close of business August 21nd, 2019. This will be the 48th consecutive year in which Target has increased its annual dividend, so a true dividend aristocrats and close to becoming a dividend king.
The dividend yield based on the new payout is approximately 3%. Last year in June, Target had increased their quarterly dividend by 3.2% to 64 cents a share.
