Dividend Aristocrat Praxair Inc. (PX) was an American worldwide industrial gases company. It was the largest industrial gases company in North and South America, and the third-largest worldwide by revenue. In 2018 it merged with Linde AG to form Linde plc.
The company’s (Praxair) earnings-per-share performance during the Recession period (2007-2009) can be seen below:
- 2007 earnings-per-share of $3.62
- 2008 earnings-per-share of $4.19 (16% increase)
- 2009 earnings-per-share of $4.01 (4.3% decline)
- 2010 earnings-per-share of $3.84 (4.2% decline)
