Coca-Cola (KO) continues to benefit from its strategy to sell more soft drinks with less sugar, such as the sugar-free version Coca-Cola Zero. In the third quarter that (again) led to higher revenues for the American soft drinks/ beverage company.
Coca-Cola’s sales over the past three months increased by 8% to $ 9.5 billion. In terms of volumes, growth was 2%.
The current dividend yield is 2.99% while trading $54.70 up 1.70% just after opening on Friday, October 18th.
Earlier this year, the board approved the company’s 57th consecutive annual dividend increase, raising the quarterly dividend from 39 cents to 40 cents per common share.
